Below is a table showing the different noun prefixes in Nkwen Language. There are nine (9) noun classes following the noun prefixes. The nouns in class one (1) begin with the prefix (m̀ or ǹ ). It should be noted that classes 2, 5, and 7 are plural classes while the rest are singular. Thus, class seven (7) is different from class (3) three which is a singular class, though they both begin with the prefix ǝ̀. The last class (9) is made up of nouns with no prefixes.
